Michael Blaszkiewicz has a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music from Wayne State University. He is on the Music Faculty at Oakland Community College, and has been active in teaching and performing on guitar for over 30 years. He is able to teach in all styles ranging from classical to rock. Michael has performed in the US, Canada and Europe, with appearances on Public Radio and local Television. He has also recorded, produced and released several recordings. His teaching approach is to work with students tailoring an individual plan that keeps them excited about learning music that interests them, while also including music theory concepts and reading. His students range in age from from young children to mature adults. He also offers ukulele and electric bass lessons.
